    Decking now requires planning permission.

Who makes up these ridiculous rules. My decking is built on a slope so of course one end is over 1 foot from the ground but that is the end with balastrades. 20 metres from a highway? why should that be a problem?

    petrollawnmower

Take off the air filter and you will see a spring, the end nearest the front of the lawnmower is hooked to a fixed tag,you need to bend the tag slightly towards the front to increase tension on the spring.Only do it a small amount until your engine is running at 3000rpm any more than this will...

My Mountfield lawnmower is blowing out thick blue smoke!

Yes they are and that is why so many people end up throwing their lawnmower away and buying a new one when a repair or service would be a much cheaper option.

My Mountfield lawnmower is blowing out thick blue smoke!

I think you might be asking the wrong questions. Has this engine been over filled with oil? Has the lawnmower been turned on its side to clean? Has it ever been serviced because the carburettor diaphragm and air filter need to be changed on a yearly basis.

    strimmer, (Oleo-Mac 725s) wont start

If you are going to change the oil make sure you use a good quality oil not some cheap rubbish, cheap oil with an SA IPA rating is no better than chip fat. Also it has to be SAE 30 not any kind of multigrade car oil i've seen too many mower engines ruined by this. If you are thinking of...

    Ceiling Bubbles

The skim seems to be as thin as you could possibly get away with so i'm guessing that it is the paper part of the plasterboard and none of them are bigger than 3 inches across and 5mm above level.Hope this explains it enough.

    Ceiling Bubbles

I have a couple of ceilings that have got bubbles in the plasterboard what is the best way of dealing with these rather than replacing the ceilings,i haven't painted these yet but i will be.

    How sharpen cylinder mower blades?

The only way is to have the cylinder sharpened by someone who does garden machinery repairs. Do not try to sharpen it yourself or use any of these grinding strips that you can buy they are a waste of money. Depending on what bottom blade you have, that will have to be either sharpened as...
