after changing the calipers a few months ago ibled the brakes following the "book" .after doing it and driving it i wasnt 100% happy cos the pedal was a bit spongy.anyway last weekend i had another go and im still not 100%.there must still be some air somewhere..little buggers!!. the calipers...

ford will do it for free i think.give them your reg number and theyll tell you if its been done.

idle speed control valve is held on by 10mm bolt i think with an electrical connector.easy to fit if is faulty?? could be coil pack, leads or plugs faulty though!

hi. had the boiler looked at today.it was a piece of lining that surrounds the combustion chamber that had dropped off and was sat upon the burner thus causing the smell!!. it was held on dot and dab style with a piece of fire cement??? some more fire cement has cured it hopefully??

howdy chaps , thanks for your time :wink: in answer to your questions..i dont feel any power loss and yes the noise is deffo coming from the camshaft(left hand side). maybe i should try sum additive ,ill let you know when i do this at weekend to see if it makes any difference.failing...
