Pyronix Enforcer - cannot get "Confirm Group" to work

hi, I have a shock sensor on a window and a pir in the same room, and I wish to trigger an alarm activation only when both detectors are triggered. I have set both inputs to "Confirm Group [01]", left the default 30 mins setting for Confirm time between detectors, and armed the system to test...

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Just a quick question to end this thread: when a detector is activated, the app shows this by displaying a cross over the padlock icon, along with a red flashing bell, but all other detectors within the same level also shows a cross over the icon, though the bell icon doesn't show. I would have...

Spot on! Thank you very much, all working as expected!

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

aha! I get it now! You hear the terms "Zones", "Areas", and "Levels", but instinctively they all mean the same until the differences are explained! I'll give this a go then. Thanks

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

So should Shed be ABC then? A as in Full Set; B as it's downstairs for arming and it makes sense to include the shed too, and C if I want to arm the shed only?

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Also, is Level A - Full Set a pre-configured level on the panel, ie. it's a fixed level config for all detectors? And I presume that all other levels are used to set individual levels (part set) if Level A - Full set is not used?

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Sorry, I was referring to Josh's_365's comment, AB didn't include the shed, guess that was an error

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Still trying to get my head around areas compared to levels. Yes you are right that I have areas fixed into my head. If Level A = Full set, why isn't Shed included in AB?

Hardwiring Elmdene sounder to Pyronix Enforcer

I see - wired it is then. Thanks

Hardwiring Elmdene sounder to Pyronix Enforcer

Thought that too - I have a spare ADT bell box that was going to be put on the back, will probably sell for quite a bit of money anyway so I can buy a new one. I already put a Deltabell-WE at the rear, but I still have the wiring for the front from the old bell. Would you recommend a wired...

Hardwiring Elmdene sounder to Pyronix Enforcer

Hi, I have an old Elmdene sounder that was on the house when we moved in, and I have bought new Pyronix Enforcer-32WE panel and I'm trying to wire this up to Zone 33 on the panel. The previous panel is a Scantronic 9751 panel, there was a Tamper Return (TR) connection which corresponded to the...

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Apologies, it should be 10 FX (Area ER). BTW, it only seems to be the App that reports all zones even though the sensor is from the hallway - the panel itself reports it correctly, so could be a bug in the app. Despite that, still like to know why I need to configure the door contact as zones ABCD

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Keeping to this setting, if I arm only A, then it works. If I arm all zones, it doesn't work, unless I configure the input to all zones (currently set to A only). Does this help? My thinking is that zones BCD requires either a timed or final door set, whether it be a detector in it's own zone...

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Just tried changing that from 08 FX (Area ER) to 07 Final Exit, but opening/closing the front door doesn't arm the alarm, and the timer just continues until Set Fail.

Pyronix Zones - programming the entry routes

Hi, I have the Enforcer panel, and have set the detectors as follows: Zone A - Downstairs detectors, inc front door entry/exit contact and Hall and Lounge PIR where I would cross to get to the panel B - Upstairs detectors C - Shed detectors I have set the front door input to 08 FX (Area ER)...

Pyronix MC1/Shock-WE (combined shock/contact): does it have 2 inputs?

Typical forum answer and attitude. Last time I was on a security forum (10 years ago) it was full of people on their high horses, with accreditation coming out of their orifices: "You know nuffin about security - go get yer self a professional blah! Blah! Blah!" Nothing has changed sadly. I...

Pyronix MC1/Shock-WE (combined shock/contact): does it have 2 inputs?

I mean that it reduced the sensitivity on that particular door, which is now in the perfect setting and less false alarms. Otherwise it would be too sensitive no matter what setting it's in. If it works, then it works.

Pyronix MC1/Shock-WE (combined shock/contact): does it have 2 inputs?

Ok thanks - I stick mine on the frames using 3M VHB tape (very high bond), they tend to reduce the sensitivity somewhat.

Pyronix MC1/Shock-WE (combined shock/contact): does it have 2 inputs?

Hi, As in the title, does this product use up two wireless inputs on the panel, and if yes, can you manage each independently of each other? For example, if I fit this onto the front door, I want the door contact to be Final Exit/Entry Route, but I want the shock sensor to trigger an output...

Suggestions for outdoor PIR to trigger lighting and CCTV/Alarm

It does say it's range is 8-30m, my drive is only 6m in length! I assume the sensor can be tilted downwards to make it more like 1-10m? The gjd lighting kit looks good, but can be pricey. Are there cheaper alternatives?
