Anyone know where the back plate mounts on the above unit?? As the current one we have mounts onto it's back plate to the left hand side as you look at it. And right next to it we have a FCU for the heating so if these Siemens unit's fit the back plate in the centre I can't fit one without...

No mate......I meant is a 25mm gap still too much?? I see they do 16mm and 25mm too.

Ahhhh right!! :wink: Just measured them and it's a little over an inch from the lug for the screw to the wall. Too much?

:oops: :? which is?? Not sure if it makes any difference but he's rendered then skimmed them all nice and neat on the inside, just the screws no longer reach.

Since having our really crappy walls rendered and skimmed and couple of our new sockets are now too deep for the existing screws. Really silly question like :lol: But can you get 40-50mm screws for them? If so, what are they called and where from? :?

Thanks bhm, just done that and it's heating up. One thing though. In a cupboard in the son's room is the stopcock for the hot water coming from the loft. Beside that pipe is another with a smaller stopcock on it. Which I assume sends cold water to the tank in the loft. The one that turns the...

Considering getting tile effect laminate in our kitchen and came across the Krono range of stone effect laminates. Has anyone come across this stuff before? It works out around £130 cheaper buying this stuff off the net rather than something like B&Q's TileLOC stuff. Just wondering how good it is.

Sorry Kev, but what is a primatic cylinder?? :oops: All I'm aware of is the back boiler sends hot water for the taps to the hot water tank in the loft. :?
