paint a rubber bitumen based paint on it should do the trick

hi all, i am planning to convert my cellar into a room in the near future, just 1 query about the sanding down of the floor joist (underside) which is better to sand them with a sander or to plane them cheers

you could use silicone, to patch it up or bitumin flashband,

or a bitumen flash band

i would use felt, as aluminum is a sellable thing, just like lead

can be done, look in the big sheds to see, they only cost a few pounds

you can use an acrypol rubber based paint on the roofing felt, but make sure that you put plenty on and that it is bone dy and free from debris and such like,

you use the 3mm sealent on the side laps,where they overlap, it only helps to keep condensation out, so if you aint got none i would use normal silicon sealant at the very least, you can get some 3mm mastic, called Arbo by us roofers, from a palce called fixing point in walsall or cft in...

the use of foam fillers is reccommeded, and under the ridge, this will keep out the birds and wind, the stitchers should be fixed every 450mm with a bead of 3mm mastic strip under the lap (this comes on a 9 metre rool)as this will help in windy conditions,and will help keep condensation out

hi, how do you go about installing an extra cunsumer unit, as the 1 have is an old one and i wish to move it down from the front room to the cellar,with a view of eventually moving the meters to the cellar too could i put 1 in the cellar and link it to the old one using the thick feed wires...

hi there, reconnect it, then go to printer/properties,then click on update driver then just follow the wizard

ideally black side should be facing down as this is the bitumen, run the torch across the black side until it starts to melt, then roll it out a little keeping the torch runnig across the bitum as you roll it out,
