hi all, i am planning to convert my cellar into a room in the near future, just 1 query about the sanding down of the floor joist (underside) which is better to sand them with a sander or to plane them
Well I think planing might be tricky as you will have probs getting to the end of the beams and going from side to side would give a lot of tear out.
I would have a go with a belt sander.
