    thanks the cold is off mains hot from combi boiler. i was worried about mains pressure being too high so tried to semi close the cold pipe to valve by shutting valve on pipe in a little, not really sure this works. jon

    had to cut hole in lath ceiling to repair pipe, is there a set way to repair so doesnt crack along edges. hole is approx 8 inches by 1metre running with laths. cheers jon

    regulating pressure for shower valve

    my thermo shower valve says no pressure over 5 bar, i have over that how is it best to regulate. i was told prv on mains but mains pipe seems to be 28mm and can only find prv for 22mm. could i put one on 15mm pipe goiing to valve? cheers jon
