repairing water pipe with flexi hose

i have a leak in my cold pipupe under a fixed down floor can get at it from floor below but i cant push the cut pipes apart to fix with push fits or copper as it appears to be held tightly all the way by the floorboards. is it ok to put push fit flexi hose in stead, or is it likely to split ?

thanks does the compression repair allow for the fact that both parts of the cut pipe can not move backwards i.e. i cant get the pipe into a compression each end??

yeh the repair coupling slips over the pipe so as long as you can pull the pipe down to get it over, you don't need any give in the pipe from left to right
