Hello,

At the week end in order to get a kitchen fitted I had to remove some copper pipe and replace for some braided flexi pipe.
I noticed that some are WRAS approved and can be used for drinking water and some cannot.

Does anyone use them? The whole house is copper pipe but the angle is really awkward so can I leave them or shall I fit plastic hep type stuff?

Thanks

If it`s your kitchen and your drinking water - Then STUFF the regs and the PC brigade

Ah right! Cheers Nige. I have some plastic hep stuff so I may replace it as I want it to be right. Why are they not really used they seem ideal for some situations?

Thanks

I have heard they can "split" and cause a flood. Not sure how reliable they are but I have seen them used before, in my families houses

flexis are great for most situations and most expensive monoblock taps come with them if they are wras approved then they are fine, they can split and u should never install comppression fittings in hard to access places but by all means use them if needs must, dont "kink" them either or they will lower flow rate
