    doesnt seem to be meany holes but the bottom of this joist just crumbled! found the odd floorboard that was not structurally sound is spraying an option? or u think rip all floorvboards out and paint joists.. take opportunity to add underfloor insulation / new feature floorboards?

    just remeasured and the existing joists are 100 mm by 50 mm they are spaced unevenly 40 to 45 cm apart are u suggesting the thicker joists to prevent sagging? actually seems I have dug down at least 20 cm below the level of the existing joists ( if they were extended over the new void )...

    ps is that a 15 mm feed pipe? I suppose I would be better getting the mains up to it.. right now the mains comes in as 25 mm lead.. then shrinks to 15 mm copper.. it has 3 or 4 T junctions before it gets to the boiler. I need to redo the pipe work anyways,,,, want it under the floor...
