    rcd protection

what would be the best way to add rcd protection for a cooker cable to be moved and reburied {not in the kitchen} and a few sockets added in bedrooms,, the consumer is an old wylex with just mcb's and a main switch, i don't think that you can get rcbos for them.

    half voltage

i was putting a couple of wall light fittings up.and was testing for voltage with a multimeter,on both lights it was showing 143v between live and earth, also 3 or 4v on the earth and neutral, what would cause such a low volt reading, there are no other problems, and the lights work ok.
