for some reason diynot will not let me add photos at the moment! If I break the drive up a bit then put planning over it would that work as a base for gravel and stop it sliding around too much?

It’s got some cracking and lumps, £20/m isn’t bad compared to other expensive options but a lot more than gravel on top of plannings. Can anyone advise on my initial idea?

I have a stopcock in the house, but plan on relocating the main. So I believe I can isolate supply at the meter upstream and then work on this supply to run a new main to a new location, which I will then have a stopcock on?

Thank you, there’s a meter upstream of the blue mdpe in the pavement so I’m guessing this was an old one that is not in use now. I am relocating where the main enters the house so I should just be able to use a 90’ elbow and take 25mm mdpe to the new location and remove all this stuff I believe?

What safety devices are there? I am talking about an open vented thermal store? (Well technically a heat bank as I am looking at ones with an external PHE. I thought due to the lack of pressure these had less safety requirements than an unvented cylinder?
