Hi thanks for the replies, if i connect the stat to the CH pump, it should control the heating due to the pump not pumping if temp reached. surely the cyl stat keeps the store at required temp. probably wrong but hey like to hazard a guess lol

Hi The house we are looking at has a Baxi Solo 2 Pf boiler, a hot water cylinder, a pump for the HW and a pump for the CH, but no divertor valve, a little confused as every diagram we look at has a divertor valve. Can anyone help. Cheers

the only problem we had was the fact the ch wouldn't work without the water being on, then a room stat was fitted and now the room stat doesn't switch off the ch when it has reached required temp, it seems the hw controls it. bit baffled :)
