    Advice please. Plumber is going to install a system boiler with unvented cylinder. Initial plan was to install a combi. Due to demand of house,2 ensuites,bathroom and shower room recommended system. Only thing concerned with is 3 of 4 showers are thermostatic, which will rely on hot water...

    I was about to ask same question, that is 'do i need room stat'? My system that is going to installed is underfloor heating downstairs and rads upstairs. I asked same question to my plumber, told me no need for stat upstairs use TRV's. Is he right?

    Do you normally have a separate supply for boiler? Boiler is going to be floor mounted under a worktop. What metal boxes shall i sink in wall and where??? Should i have a Switched Spur with Flex Outlet below surface of worktop.

    Where is the best place to locate a thermostat upstairs for rads? Downstairs will have underfloor heating. Would a bedroom be ok as landing subject to drafts etc from front door.

    Just a quick one, what is the most popular size diameter of ceiling spots. Seen from 60mm up to about 74mm cut outs. REason i'm asking, want to cut out raedy in all rooms with the most common size( most choice) before plastering
