    Polycarbonate Lean-to roof..

Would someone be able to advise on how I'd be able to work around the downpipe & soil pipe? Also, would I be able to put the guttering over the top of the posts down & along the fence without encroaching or invating my neighbours boundary?

    New Lean-to/Covered way Project

I meant self supporting as it's seems alot nicer and cleaner look - I drove past a car port that had been built like that and it really did look good, but I think therein lies the main issue, that was a carport, supported on one side, i need a system that will be enclosed on the 3 sides. In...

    New Lean-to/Covered way Project

Mainly online, Fascia.com & a few other places but have not had a complete measure up as yet - i did also come across a complete 'roof pack' offer which was around £200 and apparently included everything, however I know it won't be to my specs as I wish to have 3 of the 4 sides weatherproof - if...

    New Lean-to/Covered way Project

Never heard of Ariel Corotherm before, seems very similar to standard poly sheets, i wonder what the exact difference is as only had a quick look & the work systems won't play the videos :censored: Looks interesting though if those thermal values are accurate, and if they can design me a...

    New Lean-to/Covered way Project

    Polycarbonate Lean-to roof..

It's not a passage as it's a terraced property. I don't have a pic taken after the render was done but got an old one which will hopefully give you an idea of what the place looks like This is the area that I'd like roofed. I want to have the area upto the single storey roofed and yes would...

Water keeps leaking from shower tray...

I agree a new seal on the door is needed, but the other issue is is that it keeps catching on that silver trim, also the enclosure moves too much, would it be that I have to take the whole thing apart & use no nails or something? I'm just extremly confused as to how I can correct this issue...

Water keeps leaking from shower tray...

Hi everyone I thought I would resurrect this post as after posting I thought I would re-silicone the enclosure for a temp repair whilst I worked something / received a response, and it has lasted quite well until last night when the leaks started again - Lasted longer than I thought but the...

Tiling under boiler & boxing in Pipes..

Kev that's true it does seem lot of hassle but thought it'd be easier in the long run to have constant access but your idea is better. What could I do about wanting to have access to the isolation valves which are higher up on the vertical runs of the pipes?

    Decking Project

Great job! Am looking to do something similar but need to get some of the inside done first! Plus this weather isn't helping! May I ask if those LEDs are solar or mains connected?

    Cooker Hood wiring...

I didn't really think of it like that, but I wouldn't say the big switch isn't doing anything - it's controlling the power coming from the mains RCD, and allowing to isolate the point if necessary. Although I guess this could also be done from the mains. Haha possibly but I've been at work...

    Cooker Hood wiring...

strange the link doesn't work when clicked but here it is anyway John, this is what the cooker itself is plugged into the 6mm wire from the Mains RCD is fed into this socket (as far as I know) I could be wrong though but I don't believe so as the 6mm coming from the mains is...
