Wall tiles moving after 2 weeks

Hi all, bit of a dilemma. I installed wall tiles 2 weeks ago and noticed they are no longer in line yesterday. I am still to grout. They're porcelain tiles, I have done tiling in the past and it's been perfectly fine. I have used ceramic tiles in the past much easier to work with, porcelain...

    Safety goggles for glasses wearers

Has anyone found a decent set of safety goggles / glasses / face shield for those that also wear prescription glasses? Screwfix sell some OTG Goggles but they're useless and there's still a gap for dust / dirt to get in or they squash the glasses. Face shields have the same issue. I had a...

Bathroom mirror - flex or solid cable?

Many thanks folks. I have used wago type connectors for the wiring in the loft, there's about 6 cables. I need a large JB. Wago do a JB but do the connectors need to fit into the slots or can they be left inside the box, obviously they cannot come out as am using 5 lever connectors. Thanks again.

Bathroom mirror - flex or solid cable?

Hi guys, tried looking for the answer but can't seem to find it. Would it better to use 1/1.5 flex cable rather than the solid cable from the lighting circuit into the mirror? Mirrors tend to come with a manufacturers cable enclosure and the solid cable would struggle to go in there...

    Improving energy efficiency of house

This is the very problem. Politicians are clueless. Here's an example the health Secretary and shadow health secretary don't have a background in health care. In fact labour has kept the same shadow health secretary from Corbyn days. Yet there is a Labour mp who is an A&E doctor and she's not...

    Improving energy efficiency of house

The whole epc thing is a mess in my opinion, in conjunction with rising temperatures. Yes you can add insulation but, it's actually counterproductive because they say the country is the getting warmer, by adding insulation you're also risking the property in being hot in the summer months...
