In what circumstances is IR testing phase to earth, neutral to earth unsafe? To avoid any possible damage to any circuits should I only test to earth with phase and neutral connected together Any help would be appreciated on this

Gentleman and possibly ladies, do you have any further ideas regarding this conduit problem as I am still not certain as to what to do. I thought conduit could not be broken even if a seperate earth is run and both ends of conduit is earthed?

That sound plausible, cutting the conduit and fitting a plastic adaptable box. Is this Ok or am I missing something?

I should mention I am not relying on the conduit as sole earth, as I have ran a seperate earth
