Ok daft question is roof insulation made from PIR too? Im thinking it is

I also thought blue board was used for underfloor heating. Should i stay away from the roof insulation? it does not seem as dense as the blue board and im wondering if that will have any affect when you walk on the floor.

Good idea.... although if the weather continues to be good there wont be any problems soon! Will keep an eye on it and see how it develops. What sort of mechanical ventilation would you suggest....ie which products?

Bit of an update.... the rom was stripped of the plaster and dehumidifier stuck in which helped no end. The room hasnt been tanked and before we could consider if it should be the plasterboard was back up on the walls and plastered! However the good news is when the room was stripped there did...

I was just after some clarification. In a domestic dwelling when having new windows installed should all the windows have egress hinges for windows that are side openers? Basically should the window pane not move inwards when opening the window?

Any ideas which disinfectant and from where I can buy from. There is a large area to do. Also best way of applying? I was thinking of using a pressurised sprayer so would prefer a disinfectant that doesnt need diluting.

I am replacing the current 8mm pipes for the downstairs radiators with 15mm pipe. The plasterboard walls will be cut to allow for the pipes and then simply plastered over. Should the pipes be insulated with anything to protect them from the plaster or will they be ok.
