27-11 NEW PHOTOS: So here are actual photos of my thermostat and boiler. The stat seems to be working - clock displaying correct time etc with audible ticking, and yet no heating on any of the switch settings. All radiators are open. We have hot water but no heating, and what I assume...

I've already done that - nothing on the back either.

It has no make, model or serial no. anywhere and I can't figure out how to change anything other than the prog # and time and date. As it is, I figured the heating should be on right now, but it's not. Any ideas?

I have gas central heating and a battery powered wall timer/thermostat. I'm not sure how to set the timings on the thermostat - it's basically set so that the heating is on 24 hours according to that, but we just turn our radiators on or off at the valve as needed. Would this effect our...

Yeah you're probably right. It's an odd machine though. The interior is only accessible through the top and I can't see the motor or belt that way.

How would I do this?

It runs through cycles but the drum doesn't spin at all. I've cleaned the drain filter (which was disgusting) but the problem persists. What can I try next? Thanks

Hi, The dishwasher works fine in that it cleans the stuff in it, but then the big heating element at the bottom remains boiling hot. I only noticed this after the cycle finished and I could smell a slight burning metallic smell and then checked the element by dripping water on it. Any ideas?

That's not my window - just a photo to show what kind I have. Mine doesn't open in that direction at all. That's the problem.

I have one of these: It will open fully from the side hinges but something is stuck so it won't open the other way as shown in the image. Any sugegstions on how to remedy this? Thanks

How do I remove the indicator? (assuming that's the dial with all the letters?) It's at the point now where it doesn't revolve at all and requires a pretty hefty effort to turn the dial manually)

Just bumping this for a new problem.

So I replaced the broken part fixing my previous problem - the dial now turns but sticks during the cycle and has to be nudged along sometimes - it's also really stiff to turn it.
