    Old Lister teak bench

    I have a nice old teak bench made by Lister. After cleaning it becomes a rich brown colour (when still wet). On drying it returns to a silver/grey colour. What is the best product to retain the colour? I've been advised not to use teak oil! Thanks

    Thanks to both. I now feel a total idiot. Seems the main power supply had tripped out on the consumer unit. Unset light is now steady and unit is armed . Many thanks again!

    Many thanks , just noticed now I've turned my hearing aid on:giggle:! that there is a very faint beep when using the keypad. Can I stop the siren from sounding while I remove the cover to replace the battery, do I use an engineering code 4321?

    It's a Greenstar 37 CDI FSN GB NG Combi Fitted with Worcester DT10 RF Plug in timer with remote programmer. Just seen somewhere that if the hot water is switched to "off" the eco will remain on, but surely that means no hot water? Thanks for reply

    Update- helpful engineer in Bolton changed the cap. but reports that motor is on it's last legs so bin it is! Now had 2 Karchers and this Nilfisk -Next?
