I'm trying to use the "eco" function on my Worcester Greenstar boiler, to turn off the pre-heat.
The light will go on but will be off the following morning. The hot water is switched to "once"
Any fix please,
Thanks

Might be to do with the once? Is it a plug in timer? What model of Worcester?

It's a Greenstar 37 CDI FSN GB NG Combi
Fitted with Worcester DT10 RF Plug in timer with remote programmer.
Just seen somewhere that if the hot water is switched to "off" the eco will remain on, but surely that means no hot water?
Thanks for reply

It seems you’re doing everything correctly, try setting the hot water to constant, as it’s a combi.

If HW is iust switched to OFF shouldn't that just refer to the preheat HW and would still expect Eco to remain on for CH purposes, the DHW would still be available on request but without preheat?. Are there other settings apart from Once and Off?.

Timed, on, once and off . thanks

It is just the preheat which is controlled by the timer, so if you don't want the preheat to be on set the timer to off. Then the green light will then be lit up this means that the preheat is off.
You will still get hot water, but it will take a few seconds longer to heat up.
