    Pressure washer fault, extension lead?

Yes but wasn't quick enough! Just tried it again, ran it for a few minutes, stopped it. Re-start, loud buzz, blown fuse. Seems my nearest agent is a 100 mile round trip so nearest skip I think. Ps no reply from Nilfisk HQ!

    Pressure washer fault, extension lead?

My Nilfisk E140.2 washer has started acting up. It runs for a few minutes but if I stop and try to start again it "buzzes" loudly and then blows the fuse in the plug. I'm advised it may be the capacitor or, more likely, I'm using the wrong extension lead. So question is can I make a larger...

    Water based satin poor finish

Maybe use undercoat instead of primer/undercoat, seems the latter is preventing the brush from flowing the paint.

    Water based satin poor finish

Thanks Chivas, I've just done a test on an old cupboard door gloss painted and the Satin went on quite easily and the finish is far better so perhaps I don't need a primer /undercoat, just 2 coats of satin? Any recommends for which brand of Satin please?

    Water based satin poor finish

I've just used Dulux Trade Diamond satin water based on a widow sill and radiator after 2 coats of a primer/undercoat. I'm struggling to get a decent finish despite using a quality synthetic brush and damping the surface, the paint is dragging and refuses to flow. The finish is very poor. Should...
