    EZE Lap Diamond Stones?

Anyone got experience of these? Was looking at DMT stones but these are in a similar price bracket.

    Trend Hinge Jigs

Yeah i've had that on a couple of jobs, much easier but there seems to be money in this for a while. Ordered all the jigs now and lucky enough i still have the trend t4 been gathering dust for years. Laminate/chisel was how i got by this last week so with talk of 8 months work will be nice to...

    Tend lock jigs?

Right.. thanks for the reply to this and my other trend query. Sounds a pain with all the face plates and i can imagine often finding yourself short of the one you need. A guy on this job uses the older model and swears by it but says is a bit of a pain to setup. With all the setting up and...

    Trend Hinge Jigs

Good to know.. i was worried about potential weakness and the skeleton one especially looked a bit iffy. I've just started into price work and see i'm wasting my time without all these jigs..

    Tend lock jigs?

Theres an older one which is adjustable and a newer one with removable plates. Can anyone speak to which is better?

    Trend Hinge Jigs

Is there much between them (a/b/c)? Looking at picking one up soon. The two part jigs are obviously more portable but is there any trade off for that? Do they all work just as well?

Compound cuts for a traditional sawhorse

Ok thanks for that. I like the idea of the notch. Regarding angles and ratio runs, you might be surprised. I'm newly into fix work after nigh 20 years shuttering and my first roof job last year was all given in angles. Young company/workers mind but far from their first loft and main man didn't...

Compound cuts for a traditional sawhorse

Yes.. 3 legs for a tripod. Technically speaking, you are correct. But this one had four. You may call it a quadrapod if you like. Or a stand. The actual tripod was missing and i needed something solid. But all of this is beside the point! Angles, people. Stay on point!

Compound cuts for a traditional sawhorse

Someone please clear up something that's been bugging me for a while. I haven't had the need/chance to make a traditional sawhorse so far but last week did something similar when i needed to make a timber/ply replacment tripod for the laser. I'm working high up in an open frame building and it...

    KA2-50 bit?

Can't mind the name but it was a roofing job last year i was on and i think yeah red n black box that would take either. All the boys on job were using square bits to sink in 100mm screws.

    KA2-50 bit?

Its a great system. Some screws will take a pozi or square drive wont they. I bought a set of triton impact bits on ebay but though listed as square they were too small for the corresponding drive and on closer inspection labelled r1,r2 etc. Getting to be a nightmare with...

    KA2-50 bit?

I really like the square drive but have had some bad experience with robertson bits being sold as square and they're not quite the same fit. As i understand it robertson is almost universal in canada and square is a slightly diff euro standard.

    KA2-50 bit?

From the pdf that looks pretty identical although the bit shown has a completely different notation on the bit. Maybe its an older version, or just very similar system. No idea where i got it and don't remember using it. I was just sorting my bits out and wondered wtf it was... Catlad do your...

    KA2-50 bit?

Anyone know what that is? They're a square drive but the flats are deeper than the corners which are a bit rounded.

    Battery adaptors?

Thanks, yes all my batts have the star so i guess they'd be ok.

    Battery adaptors?

Are these safe to use? I much prefer the Dewalt multitool to the Makita and all my stuff/batts are Makita so i was thinking of using one with an adaptor. Does anyone know the odds of breaking a battery doing that overdraining etc?

Box gutter, bevel/mitre: What am i missing here?

Looked into it a bit more after the fact. Thing is it just was a more complicated calculation/joint than i expected. With a 45 deg pitch everything else is 45 and lines up at that hence coping joints works. It's not the same as the hip pitch although in this case it happened to be very close it...

Box gutter, bevel/mitre: What am i missing here?

I'm just starting out in 1st & 2nd fix having spent a long time in shuttering and found myself doing a bit of headscratching today. We cut in a low pitch (26deg) roof which is of equal sides i.e. square and are installing a box gutter around it. Battens and soffit are in and we were to run a...

    Paslode batteries

Indeed, hence my caution. I emailed one of the charger sellers to confirm they have the voltage sensing but they're still aftermarket. Not sure Paslode ever actually did their own NiMH stuff for that range.
