We've noticed over the last few days that our hot water isnt as hot as it should be. It is timed to come on for about 1.5 hours in the morning and about 4 hours in the evening. (Same as the heating). We never usually run out of hot water but these last few days its been lukewarm. Tonight...

The water was really clean, looked clean enough to drink!! When the heating came on this morning, all the rads were hot even the one in the hall, although that one was slightly cooler than the others. So we've bled it some more this evening - more air came out so fingers crossed..... :D

We are replacing our 13 year old flat roof over the house extension with a new "warm" roof, which will be about 5 inches higher than the existing one... and we may need planning permission for that as it is classed as an extension due to the fact that we are "increasing the volume of the house"...

Ollski, You have only listed 5 colours for Switchmaster to 4 new.... there were 6 on the switchmaster and 5 on the new. :? Apparently though, there are lots of wires there, not just for the valve thing... some wires seem to go up into the attic, etc etc, its a bit of a minefield...
