I gave it a go but have no idea what I’m doing. I did have my installer back but he couldn’t figure it out either. Anyone in the Leeds area fancy a call out?

I don’t access to Wintex, not massively computer savvy so I wouldn’t know how to connect it all up tbh. Is this something I can do from the user panel menus?

Hello. When I part set (evening arm) I’m still getting the chime count down which is waking the kids up at night time. Would anyone be able to guide me through setting it to silent arm please? Thank you.

    Raised block and beam patio.

Just coming back to this. I need to raise the area by 2 brick courses. This will be above DPC to reduce the step out the bifold doors. My plan is: -Fit channel drains along house perimeter. -Pour concrete slab 125mm thick straight onto exciting patio. -Tile direct onto slab using outdoor tile...

    SWA Earthing strands corroding

3 core. Slight rust, more white oxidisation tbh. Want to run it to a shed. It’s been used before, pulled up and then sat in storage for 2 years. I know the best think to do is to replace it but cost these days are just crazy.

    SWA Earthing strands corroding

Hi All. I’ve got 20m of 10mm SWA I’m wanting to use but I’ve noticed the outer earring strands and corroding. I’ve cut back a meter and it’s the same. Is it still useable? Thanks.

    Raised block and beam patio.

I’ve got a raised balcony patio area on block and beam. It’s currently slabbed but they are lose and I’d like to lay porcelain tiles in their place. Any advise on making the block and beam water tight prior to laying the tiles. I’d like to use the area underneath for storage but it currently...

    Planning issue with log store.

Would anyone know, does an open fronted log store require planning permission to be in the front garden of a house? I know sheds need planning but a log store isn’t a shed imo.

    Texecom alarm

I asked for an alarm and got an alarm I guess. It’s a great alarm don’t get me wrong. I’d just like to add mobile phone connectivity/functionality but hey ho.

I’ll just have to give up on the idea I guess.

    Texecom alarm

I’m pretty gutted. Who stores a new 10 year old alarm in the shed. All wireless sensors, if I changed the panel could I use these?

    Didn’t use galvanised nails…

So school boy error but I grabbed a bag of nails for my workshop build and just totally forgot to check they were galvanised/stainless. I’ve used them for feather edge cladding, about a week ago and already they’ve started to rust and bleed. All I can think to do is clean the heads up and dab...

    Sedum roof.

Hey John. No waterproofing included. As it’s a new build I’ve put a EPDM roof down so it’s water tight. The sedum is purely for aesthetics but would still like to do it. I’m not too sure on growing my own, there seams to be a knack to it from what I’ve been reading. I double checked my quote...
