    New fence but gardens staggered

Guys, My neighbour and I need a new fence. The gardens are staggered in height so there's a 3 foot mud bank essentially. Building a brick retaining wall isn't a cost effective option, the gardens are stable so we don't really need any retaining wall as such. Is it bad practise to just build...

Cheers guys. I've been to a local independent tiling shop today and purchased a special 2 part screed to level over it. Went down really well. Just need to find another spare day to tile now!!

    Tiling onto concrete

Sorry if this is an age old question, after a bit of a Google I'm getting mixed messages. I want to tile Down stairs onto the concrete slab. House is late 80's. I'm expecting the tiled floor to be really cold but I'm not keen on the work involved in underfloor heating or the running costs...

    Underfloor heating spur

Evening. Is it acceptable to spur off a fused spur that already supplies a socket for underfloor heating? So 2 spurs off the FCU? Plan is to fit an RCD spur to run 700w of underfloor heating. Thanks

    CCTV stand off arm

Guys, I have a Yale CCTV system and the cameras need to be positioned on the house looking sideways. I think I'd benefit from an extension stand off arm of some sort to get a better field if vision. Amcam anyone recommend a suitable product? Thanks!

    Pyronix enforcer fault

Guys my alarm won't sent and I get a control panel line fault. It's a GSM unit, could a deactivated sim cause this? If so is it as simple as putting in engineer mode and saw the sim over? Thanks.

    Could someone ID this manhole

I can see the hydrant pics thanks John. I think your spot on, was walking the baby round the streets earlier and i spotted a new hydrant sign on a lamp post, below it was the same cover as mine but painted yellow. I wonder if mine was either missed in the new signage or perhaps it's a blank as...
