    iv never plastered before so it could be in my favour to have two coats....o_O sort of a take two approach after learning on the first coat. is it ok to do two coats with standard plaster...not some other 'bonding' plaster like i think i saw somewhere

    I have a stud wall that has finished depth of pretty much spot on 100mm I have planed timber door lining that is about 108mm is 4mm on each side too much to ask of skimcoat? should i be thinking of getting 2-3mm off the door lining timber or is there smarter ways to do this?

    Yes mainly sound muffling not so much for insulation properties ok so I don’t have to worry about having the cable covered in rokwool at all? what if it’s looped in with extractor fan for the wc?
