Washing machine in bathroom - outside zone 2

That's why the WM fused spur is outside the bathroom. With the cable access hole sloping at 20° upwards out of the bathroom.

Electric heated tower rad, fused spur outside zone 2 etc

Bathroom being replaced/rearranged. Washing machine going in bathroom corner via new spur in hall, with upward sloping hole up to new spur backbox. Is it ok to Wago a junction in a 16mm blanked off galvanised backbox, to run a switched fused suppy for the towel rad off to the left (1000 height...

Washing machine in bathroom - outside zone 2

There is a hole sloping up to the rear of the new spur,. Also, I'd like an electric heated towel rail on the yellow wall, above where the sink was previously (washing machine going in the corner). And a light over a mirror on the red brick infill wall (lighting cable with Wagos). Any thoughts...

What gap to allow between Aquapanel boards, for joint adhesive?

Incredbly sticky. Barrier cream a must, or just hand cream would do, even single cream would be better than nothing.

Incredibly sticky. Barrier cream before continuing tomorrow.. Do you use any waterproofing treatment on the Aquapanel boards before tiling?

What gap to allow between Aquapanel boards, for joint adhesive?

What gap should I allow when cutting the boards, given that adhesive is being used instead of scrim etc. I gather the adhesive expands? Is this right? Or do I just butt them up tight after glueing, and get the screws in rapid?

Which face of Aquapanel Interior boards faces out (takes the tiles) ?

I don't think Aquapanels are designed for that sort of weight, I think they might crack in that scenario even if you got the top of joists all at the same level

Which face of Aquapanel Interior boards faces out (takes the tiles) ?

One side is rough, the other is smooth, with the brand name, batch No. printed on. I've put up stud to enclose a new bath on 3 sides, time to put the Knauf boards on. The obvs is that the rough face will grip the cls better. So which face takes the tiles?

New bath has arrived, why is it shorter than sales spec dims?

Thank you, So given that it's a 1794 lg bath, how much would be added to the 1794 for the primary seal? Would 2-3mm at lower edge/lip be about right? Becoming a little thicker at the top?

Fixing acrylic bath - enclosed 3 sides (1 masonry, 2 stud)

I bought an 1800x725 bath, to enclose on 3 sides. But the bath only measures 1790 along top of rim, flaring out slightly to 1794 at the underside/lower edge the rim lip. So is the 1800 given in the sales spec the length of the alcove required to accommodate bath plus 1st/primary seal? Making...

Talking to a general builder doing some dry lining in my place, says he mostly does bathrooms these days, because "everything has dropped and needs reworking". Is tilebackers/bath sat on the same horiz CLS/batten a good solution?

What gap to set between tiles lower edge and bath?

Thanks, I asked because I've never seen a bath that didn't have a 6mm to 8mm silicon bead around btm of tiles. If enclosing the bath at on 3 sides with stud, what gap would you set at ends to allow for 1st seal silicon?

Thank you, Well yes, but having done that and regardless of wether the eventual btm tile is whole or not; what distance is usually set between lower edge of eventual btm tile and top of bath? Dain
