Is it possible to cut bath panels without ruining them?

2100 wall to take 1800 bath/shower. I'm putting studs using bathroom boards at each end to bring the 2100 down to 1800ish (just over), but the stud at the taps end will cover that whole wall to lose the pipework for new sink/toilet also. The face of the tiles infringing on the plan/footprint of...

Alternative to cemented undercloaking (Marley Modern)

If I pry the old barge board away, clear out the old undercloaking/cement, then some new treated 100x47 or 50x47 could go on the outer rafter to bring the face out close to where it should always have been? Theoritically the top of new treated would follow top of outer rafter? Should I drill...

Ridge tile - mortar bed along full length each side?

The gutter can stay for a day as there's some rain coming in before I'll get chance to bed the ridge. Tile slips? Do you mean bits of broken tile to stop the mortar dropping down between, and help prevent slump?

Ridge tile - mortar bed along full length each side?

Marley modern conc. slates (large flat interlocking 420x290). Are the ridge tiles supposed to be bedded on mortar full length each side as well as ends? I had to take a load off to replace slates and they were bedded/pointed at the ends but apart from that no mortar along most of each side?

Ridge tile (Marley Modern) - correct ration mortar mix? How much mortar?

Are ridge tiles supposed to be bedded on mortar along the sides or is just the vertical bit at the ends supposed to be grouted? I do have some on mortar along the long sides, at one end of the house but I suspect that was to bring them up level with the rest. Also, should so much mortar be used...

Alternative to cemented undercloaking (Marley Modern)

I have to replace the undercloaking, it's shot and falling away. I don't think much of undercloaking mortared to the underside of cantilevered tiles, I have about 3" of overhang. The mortar and undercloaking just seems to have fallen away from the underside of the tiles. Maybe support new...

Thank you John, The FCU is to the right of the combi, well out of the way. The olde fuse board has been replaced with an RCD protected CU, in the kitchen. I was under the impression that sinks were subject to to proximity zoning regs?

I did find these but you got there 1st. The 2 gang switches available are 10amp and 20amp? They're for the hallway & landing lights, is a 20amp rating required?
