Is there such a thing as a domestic alarm panel which can be connected to my house wi-fi network to allow it to send alerts / emails etc via the internet. The ability to administer it via a web browser much like I do with my router would be good also ? Thanks in advance for any guidance...

Have you considered using something like this.....probably better than using a flexi coupling.........your local merchant should be able to get you one / or ebay ?

Try plugging the phone into the master socket, if it still does not ring then call your telephone provider ( BT or otherwise ) Have you tried another phone ?

There is likely to be a battery in the bell-box also and removing the power from the panel will trigger this.

Looks fine to me, although personally I like a sounder to have some screen printing..............more authentic IMO.

..............surely the type of bell / and connections required will determine which cable is needed. Typically 6 core is used I'd say for example Power + Power - Bell + Bell - Tamper Tamper Return. ......however some bells have other functions which if used will need more than 6...
