Just had a shower, turned the switch to turn it off and nowt happened..... water still coming out.. Isolated shower but now need to know which part I need to buy. The shower is a Triton Ivory 2. Many thanks, Mike

Checked that and that's not the problem. The machine has been in place for a few years with no problems until we noticed the water underneath it.

We have the above machine and just lately when the wife does the washing we have a small pool of water under the machine. I pulled the machine out this morning and checked for any split or wet hoses etc, found nothing. I then filled the machine and run it from the rinse and spin cycle...

Thanks for that, by what you said it's looking like a failed motor. I have to go out now but I'll take it out later and check with voltage across it. Is it possible to just replace the motor or do I need a whole new valve? This one is over 10yrs old.

Don't know exact voltages, only tested with a mains test lamp. Didn't detect any movement to CH at all when heating switched on.

Yep power is ok.

Heating was working fine last night but today it's not. Hot water fires the boiler up fine. I moved the lever on the 3 way valve to heating but it made no difference, still wouldn't work. Is this a faulty vave that needs replacing or is there a smaller, cheaper, easier repair? It is an ACL...

I didn't say I had come up with a faulty gas valve. I asked if I would be right in thinking it was that. Simple enough question surely.

I have a Glowworm Ultimate boiler which until recently has been okay. Now when the boiler starts up everything is fine until the gas ignites then it sounds like more like I have a petrol generator running. Would I be right in thinking that this could be a faulty gas valve an if so, any ideas...

Don't know, got told on here it may be faulty as the boiler sounds like it has a small petrol generator running when the gas ignites.

I went to buy a new gas valve and when the guy took it out the box it looked completely different to the one fitted in the boiler at present so I left it. The part he took out the box was an 830 Tandem. Is this the correct part? On the front of my present one there's the adjustment for the...

I disconnected the fan, put in a new fuse and it didn't blow. I reconnected the fan, it spun up and the boiler fired up but now the boiler sounds noisy. Fan is quiet and then a loud buzzing / humming noise starts as soon as the gas fires up.

My pcb packed up on Saturday with a pop and burning smell. Replaced it today, the old one was well fired on the bottom side and the fuse had blown, obviously. The new pcb fuse blew before firing up the boiler. What else do I need to look at now? Any gas fitters on here in the New Forest...
