Hi All I have bought a back-to-the-wall toilet and cistern. I've been told by the seller that using a flexible pan connector will make the installation easier. I'm reading in a few places that these flexible connectors are prone to leaking (going off the comments on the Screwfix website)...

Apologies... I got myself mixed up! The thermostatic valve has 3/4" male fittings, where do I find the female ones? Sorry for the mixup again!

Hi All I have a thermostatic mixer with female 3/4" inlets and outlets on it. I can find the male 3/4" push fit flexible fittings on Screwfix but not the female ones or any female to male adapters. Am I missing these somewhere? Anyone know what to do? Thanks

Back again with the same question!..... Got my TRV and lockshield today, both are compression fit on the rad tails. I'm trying to picture how this will work if the pipes don't have any movement as the tail will slide into the TRV, the olive goes over it and then the compression fit is made...

Oh yes I see what you mean... thanks very much thats a good idea to use that to pour the cleaner and conditioner in! Should the valve on the top of the AAR be open constantly or should it be closed? Just checked and mine is closed, if I open it it starts to leak water.

AAV? Oh I think I have one of these on my system already! Has a small blled nipple type release on the top right? Not sure how mine comes apart it looks like this one: Any ideas if this one comes apart?
