    Fitting Bath Feet

The instructions just have a diagram of the base with feet attached viewed at an angle. No numbers to work with sadly.

Thank you. Was aiming a bit higher but hard to take the picture and hold it at the same time.

    Fitting Bath Feet

My bath has some awful instructions. I'm trying for to fit the feet, but it's not very clear what to do. It appears to show using 16mm screws to fix a metal frame to the bottom. There are no pre drilled holes or markings on the bottom to go by, and the bottom of the bath is very difficult to...

    Fitting Outdoor Light Indoors

No no no I want to remove the ceiling light and fit this outdoor light in its place in the circuit. I don't have the instructions to hand but I remember it saying Fused Spur somewhere. I'll find them out later.

    Fitting Outdoor Light Indoors

Just checking before I get an electrician round. After finding no wall lights that she liked, my girlfriend bought an outdoor light with the hope of fitting it indoors. It would be replacing an existing ceiling light. It does say not to wire to a lighting ring, is there a reason for this.

    Window Reveal... Where to begin?

For the top of the reveal I'm going to double up some sheets, what is the best way to bond them together? Is the plasterboard adhesive used to bond it to the wall OK?

    Window Reveal... Where to begin?

Ok, there is about a 35mm gap between the masonry and the edge of the window. Is this gap too large to pad out with the adhesive?

    Window Reveal... Where to begin?

After a battle with a rotten window frame, I have been left with a big mess around my bathroom window (see below). How would I go about fixing this? I'd love to give it a go before getting a professional in.

    Ventilation Boxes on Wall

Yes the house is below the flight path of a US Air Base. I've just had the windows replaced but not sure about vents. I don't mind having vents just not something so large hanging off every wall in the house.

    Ventilation Boxes on Wall

Out currently so can't taken pic. Opened one yesterday and it is lined with a few bit of foam and then connected to a tube that goes to a vent outside. No gas appliances any more, although there did used to be 2 gas fires in the house.

I have several of these ventilation boxes on walls of my house. I don't like them, are they ok to remove or replace?

    Tile/Tile Backer Under Bath

The floor is currently 18mm plywood direct onto the joists. There is some 6mm board designed to go on floors.

    Tile/Tile Backer Under Bath

That's what I had thought. Over half the floor area is covered by the bath so seems pointless to Tile it all. Would you lie the cement board over the whole floor though?

    Tile/Tile Backer Under Bath

I've just lay a new 18mm plywood floor in what will become the bathroom. It is only a small room (1.5m square), and the Bath will take up a large amount of this room. What floor there is exposed I was going to lay ceramic tiles on, but should I tile under the bath? Seems a waste to. If not...
