Just an update ..got code p2599..it wasn't the engine management light , but the error " engine malfunction - service now" on the display panel. Still goes into limp mode ..Could be turbo he said but not sure..really need someone who knows there stuff.. he said might be a sensor just before...

The car was services recently, air , oil, fuel filter, fresh oil.. has 39k on clock..will ask mechanic to check pipes tommorrow..I was concerned as to why the 3 small breather pipes under the turbo had com away..anyway will see tommorrow...car also went into limp mode on way back yesterday..

Hi guys..my kids got a ford focus 1.6tdci 2012 plate..recently engine management light came on..took it to garage and mechanic saw that the air filter hose , the one connected to the turbo, was split and patched up hy previous owner with duct tape..anyway he also said just below the turbo 3...

Hi I've got a bristan frenzy thermoststic bar shower, had it installed about 4 years ago THIS One here..trouble is turning it on is very stiff, also design is so silly, very smooth, when hands are wet very difficult to turn on. I'm thinking of replacing the control valve in it..ref 5+6 in...

Yes i did press them together, I get see pic..I havnt tried removing the switch to see if heating comes on..is it suppose to or not?

Yes , some menu came up, pressure, installers menu, etc..nothing I saw about s30?

Yes via the boiler. I don't have a room stat..I control the heating via the timer on the boiler..I have nothing else..I prefer this way..

Well it's nearly 7.30 pm..the timer hasn't switched the boiler on..strange..?

I've set the timer to switch on boiler at7pm till 10pm..see if it comes on..see pic

I don't have a room thermostat, yes the dial is set to timer.. Ahhh ok..didn't know about the little triangle..lol

Ok guys just an update..I bought a new timeswitch 150..straight forward to fit...how come the boiler won't switch on when on timer mode,?...I set it come on from 1pm to 3pm by pushing the pins in..,but it fails to come on...any ideas?.. Sorry just read above post ...what do mean my time is set...

Yes the clock is more or less lined up proper, although the hour hand which is painted on the dial , doesn't line up exactly, ie 9pm...the minute hand will be at 12 and the hour hand just below the 9...but more importantly if I set the boiler to come on say 8pm to 12pm..it doesn't switch on...

Hi got a vaillant boiler with timeswitch 150 manual timer.. the timer is working, can hear it ticking..problem is all the timing is messed up ..when I set the time for heating to come on, ie,6 till 10...it turns on boiler at different time...not the one I set..seems like the clock is all messed...

Ah..I see..actually the spring side on the spindle is inside..I assumed he put it on wrong..also did notice those spring cassettes but are the one with the hole on the middle..thanks

Hi had to get settee through front door, bloke took of front door handles off...put them back on and now the outside handle has no springiness in it..took handles off have , seems like there is a spring missing..see pic..we're working perfectly before....

i hate this dpf thing though, dont drive much , only work and back and here and there...dpf light came on a few times..took it on motorway a few times, cleared the dpf by doing a regen...if this is the sign of things to come..im gonna have to sell this car....
