Thanks all.. Just for my own piece of mind... you cannot double spur from a ring unless you introduce a FCU.. but with a radial as stated you seem to be able to spur off multiple times.. is that correct ?

Quick question.. Radial circuit as below.. is socket 1 classed as a spur as it's fed via the JB? Apposed to having 2 legs.. one to the next socket? Thanks all!

Also the vents in the actual door itself, I need to block them how would you suggest that? The gap around the top in the pictures I think I'll expanding foam, cut back then silicone.. can I put expanding foam in the vents in the metal door?

Thanks Terry.. I've left it in the wago and taped it up marked up live. The disconnected wires came out by themselves.. house builders ! They are for the 2 way light upstairs. I was just baffled that I couldn't make the cable dead.. If it gets changed again I'll do a continuity test and find...

Hi all.. Just replaced an old Pir Light with a new one. The old required 3c and earth, but the new one 2c and earth. Simple enough... but the spare wire which I should now disconnect from the switch isn't dead I've disconnected the wires at the switch but nothing works it stays live...

Hi all.. Just a query.. fitting spotlights in the garage soffit... I have been told to use 1.5mm flex... but I thought I should use 1.5mm twin and earth.. I see the benefit of using flex.. would that be okay ?
