Obviously when they decorated our spare room last time the rad either wasn't there os was moved. I don't want to have to empty the system and remove the rad but has anyone got any ideas how I go about making the mess of paper behind it any neater, just wondered if anyone had any tricks.

I am trying to sand some wallks down that I recently stripped of paper. I was going to lining paper it but the window and rad are just too damn awkward and I don't mind sanding however my sander is awful and the paper just flies off it. Can anyone suggest a good sander....budget is <£50...
