1/ Keep radiator off for atleast three days prior to hanging paper, as the heat makes wall more highly porous. 2/ Apply thin paste down the back of the radiator with an radiator roller on the wall, then let dry, then do a second time in order to kill some suction. 3/ BEFORE hanging a cut length around or down the radiator DO NOT PASTE this length (and following lengths) and measure the width of previously hung length edge to the radiator holder (thats on the wall), also measure from windowsill to top of holder, then paste this length and fold. Leave for soaking and then open this length on table on the non-pasted side, then measure (making line on paste) as per measurements previously taken (as above) and cut from bottom to up-to top of radiator holder (this creates a slice), then fold the length of paper (ONLY AT TOP, MEETING AT TOP SLICE), then fold at bottom at about 5cm up (NO MORE), then allow the two bottom slices 5cm folded up parts of paper to slide in the back of the radiator (FROM THE TOP OF THE RADIATOR I.E. USE GRAVITY TO YOUR ADVANTAGE), then once paper has been slid into place behind radiator pull all folded areas and then use an clean radiator roller to press paper onto wall behind radiator, but using a brush at top and bottom, then trim, and use this sytem at each lentgh and only do one at a time if u aint a decorator. However where there aint a radiator holder (bracket) then u wont need to slice paper as explained above. However watch u dont get caught out with the match that meets all around the window & radiator wall, cos that is another story ! Also keep radiator off for 72 hours after hanging the paper.
