forget this. found 30mm in the FAQ...just didn't think it was for 22mm floorboards.

need to screw some plywood down before tiling on it. I took up the old vinyl and chipboard and it looks like my floorboards are 22mm thick. My ply is 12mm. Any recommended screw length? Would 30mm be alright? I think gcol mentioned brass screws are weak, so what's best?

ah. what about the lip between say, utility room to bathroom. Utility will have boards, ply & tiles... bathroom has just boards, thin chipbard & vinyl.

Do you grout on the skirting board side then? Even a slight dodgy cut on the tile will leave a gap and there'll be grout between the tile and skirting. Just asking cos I did this on my wall tiles and you're supposed to take off socket covers and tile up to the metal case then put the cover...

Out of interest, why is it that the normal adhesive won't work or is it just that this stuff lasts longer ?

What length and what type screws should I get? Brass? and what 15mm into 12mm plywood or more than that ?

Plan to tile the floor in a utility room where there is also a washing machine. Should I be using flexible adhesive for this due to the vibrations from the washing machine ?
