Ordered a GU10 lampholder, thanks! Out of interest are there particular reasons why a ceiling light and walllight could not be fitted interchangeably in either location. Obviously some aesthetically would not work, just wondering if there are different regulations?

Yep. The problem here is a psychological one. Address that and the radiators, proximity to windows and the idea that people have solar powered batteries will disappear. It's a wind up.

Thanks, they are all labelled as being in use. One is for the doorbell and seems to go to a transformer. I'd thought I could easily lose this and go for a wireless bell if that's easier but the bell works so if a small CU fitted alongside does the job that seems to make sense. Thanks again.
