Hello again Turned both pump and shower of for ten minutes but it doesnt seem to have worked. Yes the pump does cut out when the shower stops.

Oops no wonder it wouldnt come apart! This is a bit of a problem then as the shower unit is one of the "microphone" type that retracts into the side of the bath which means its a bath out job! Unless anyone has any bright ideas?
