I'm looking to lay porcelain patio to the immediate exterior, 150mm below DPC. Then either sleepers...

    Tiling around corner with trim

So you reckon that even with the chipped edges of a wet cutter they will look alright on a bead? Tried using a normal tile cutter. But tiles are 9.5mm porcelain and they always seem to break by about 10mm right at one end.

    Tiling around corner with trim

I get that, I have found the centre point and roughly run off that, but whatever I do I wasn't going to end up with a full cut on the external corner I mentioned.

    Tiling around corner with trim

It's got like a 1mm lip, wouldn't hide a tile cut by a wet tile cutter. The one I'm using leaves a rough edge.

    Tiling around corner with trim

I have 600 x 900 tiles. I am at an internal corner with a 450 cut, would you normally start the next wall with a 150 cut then full tile? If so then I have will have a cut into a external corner. Would you normally not run the uncut edge until a external corner bead ejther side to keep it neat...

    Shower Screen Chanel/Guide Bar

We are retiling as we had a leak related to a bad tiling job by the previous owner. Walls have been properly tile backer boarded so it's water proof. So retiling but keeping same units for the moment and respraying them. From what I can see screens are about £220. There is nothing wrong with the...

    Shower Screen Chanel/Guide Bar

I have a shower screen chanel (bit the screws to the wall) which has been damaged when trying to prise away from the old tiles. Unfortunately we are going to have to ditch it, but rather than buying a whole new shower screen can we just buy another chanel? The internal diameter is 30mm, there is...

OK I guess it gets us up and running for the moment, the issue with that is there is no drain connection for the dishwasher. So I need to add one. Would this be OK to add inline with the pipework, might have to be before the trap...

The overflow is properly connected on the full size sink, the the dishwasher waste is connected to the half bowl which doesn't have an overflow.

    Plumbing sink

Cheers for the advice the only issue I have is it has quite stylish drainer plugs, so if we ditch all that well lose that too won't we? Also rightly or wrongly I have connected the dishwasher waste to the overflow on the .5 bowel basket. Using what we have what's the tidiest way of plumbing it...

    Plumbing sink

Hi I have a blanco sublime 1.5 bowl sink. The baskets have a sort of push fit connection underneath. Using the pipework they supplied to looks like the pic below. Not ideal really but there isn't enough space to put it at the back. What else would I need in order to get it plumbed up and can I...

    Retiling Shower Room

No shower tray to fit. Using the existing one this is just a retile job but to use the tile backer boards to give it a bit more belt and braces! So the boards will meet the shower tray then I will seal the bottom with ct1 sealant.

    Retiling Shower Room

I've just bought loads of Sts tile backer board 10mm from wickes, bought the adhesive that fills in the gaps too and the relevant screws. Seems as it this system will be totally water proof. Do you if it's all boarding in this stuff and sealed that we could still use the shower before tiling?

    Retiling Shower Room

Had about 6 quotes to get the tiling redone since this thread. Got one in after the first one didn't get back to me or avoid calls, say they will call back and so on, I don't really get why you would spend an hour round a house that you are not going to do! waste of time seems to be a continuous...
