Just got a new dimmer delivered and 1 of the dimmers is up the wrong way as per the attached. Is this correct, someone been messing about with it!? Should I be sending to back? The photo on the varilight website shows them all up the right way...

Thanks for the replies, I am putting them on the wall. I have put them on with the arrow facing up, so the flat side is on the bottom and the bevelled side is on the top. Nothing on the box to say, its weird whats the point of the bevelled side? Guess I just carry on as I have been but stange...

Went for the no more ply in the end, then put the tray on top. The it uses is really strong and all seems good.

Hi Have started tiling my bathroom, 30x60 tiles. Probably a bit late now! But am curious to know what these arrows mean? Have put all the tiles on with the arrow pointing up, seems like the bottom of the tile is cut flat and the top of the tile is cut slightly bevelled. Any ideas? Many thanks

Cheers will leave the top row get the ceiling plastered and then finish off.

Having it skimmed, will put plastic sheeting over to cover the tiles while its done. Any views on the Mosiac tile backer? Or where you whould start the first tile ont he wall pictured? Thanks

What are peoples views on Mesh tile backer such as this, https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/all-available-essentials/mosaic-mesh-backer Looking for anything that will make the job easier but not if they are not recommended. Thanks again

Doesn’t the adhesive just push through of the mesh or is it a case, like you say to go easy with them to avoid this. Cheers everyone.

Thanks, The tiles are 60 x 30, probably going with 3mm spacers, the width of the wall is 210 wide. Yes one of my main concerns is that you would see where the cuts meet the beading but will try your tip of scoring first. Taking this into account what would you recommend with setting out, should...
