Hi, Does it matter which side the feed is connected to on a radiator. I assume that the thermostat valve is always fitted on the feed side is this correct or doesn't it matter.

I have just channeled in some pipes to a shower mixer valve and this was only have way up a wall - if you are going all the way up to the ceiling you have a long hard job chiseling out!!
