I have taken a bathroom suite out before prior to a professional installing new bathroom. To remove this excess pipework would I just need to isolate the main water supply then disconnect the pipe work? Or would the whole system need draining?

never said it was, it’s just excess pipework from the original build that BG didn’t remove at the time of removing old tank

This was the original tank installed with the property built in 2001. I purchased in late 2014 and the tank started leaking during the winter so was happy just to get heating at the time. just trying to get it tidied up now

I had a heating water tank taken out years ago and opted for a combi boiler. It looks like there is a lot of excess pipework left, would it be easy to remove the excess pipework as per the red markups in the attached? Thanks

I would love to get the chipboard up to make sure its been insulated fully which I doubt but I think is a bit beyond my skillset (i dont have a circular saw) I have used "wooden floor sealant" between to skirting and chipboard to see if helps with drafts.
