    is it ok to run tw&e in conduit in a garage to power sockets and lighting, but when the conduit reaches the ceiling joist just clipp it direct to the joists? Would this be ok to NIC standards?

    If someone had just moved into a property which had been repossessed and the CU had been smashed of the wall, leaving a dangerous situation of exposed live cables, would it be notifiable work to replace the CU seems its damaged and dangerous?

    Why would it need to be earthed if it can be clearly seen? TW&E is not earthed if clipped direct
