Modern 0.2 bar pressure taps with good flow

I am trying to find some modern looking taps (preferably waterfall) that will give a decent flow rate at 0.2 bar. I need bath filler and basin mixer taps. I have seen these: http://www.betterbathrooms.com/taps/tabor-waterfall-taps/tabor-waterfall-bath-filler/ Which quote a 0.2 bar flow...

    Bathroom water pressure estimate?

Is there any way to guess or approximately work out the water pressure from taps in a bathroom? We are replacing the bathroom and have found some taps that require 0.5 bar pressure and wonder if these are even an option. Our second choice of taps say minimum of 0.2 bar. Any help would...

    Solar charging for garden

Well I'd have to pay an electrician to run power outside and the fact that the summerhouse is a good 15m from the house it's not going to be cheap.

    Solar charging for garden

We only really want the lights on (just feature lighting) during the spring/summer evenings anyway. It just makes it easier if the battery is charging in the sun all day instead of me having to charge the battery all of the time. Happy to charge it up if necessary if we do want to use the...

    Solar charging for garden

I would like to install a few lights in our garden, they will all be LED and I have no power outside (getting it installed would be too expensive). What I would like to do is have a solar panel on our summerhouse (which is pretty much always in the sun) and charge a battery of some sort...

    Christmas light controller advice

I hope this is in the right place and someone can advise. I have 2 sets of christmas lights, both with the same connector type however one controller can 'remember' the last setting and one cannot. I want to swap the controllers over so the more important one stays as it should be on the...

    Gas hob pipe behind oven?

[/url] If it didn't cost silly amounts of money to get someone in to do that then it may be an option. It's cheaper just to find an oven that fits.

    Gas hob pipe behind oven?

I've had a look at the pipe, it come up against the wall, then forward then up to the hob. That means the oven I wanted won't fit around the pipe. The only ones I have found that show a cut out on the back that is suitable is siemens, but they're not cheap! Anyone know of any decent...

    Gas hob pipe behind oven?

The screws are loose on one side and if I take them out it is unlikely they'll go back in. I will have to at some point, I'm just trying to work out the most likely way things are done. I had presumed this pipe went down to the ground (because I have no idea) but is it more likely that it...

    Gas hob pipe behind oven?

So do you think it's possible the gas pipe comes out of the wall horizontally just below the top of the oven and then goes up to the hob? I can see the back of the oven through the gap and can't see where the pipe goes, it just goes down until out of site. It's a hotpoint oven, but I can't...

    Gas hob pipe behind oven?

I wonder if someone can help. I am looking to replace our built in oven, which has a gas hob above it. I wonder whether there may be a 'standard' way of installing these, our house was built in 1995. The reason I ask is because I have measured in the gap above the oven from the front of...

    Decking oil - Rubbish?

Liberon decking oil is what I bought after the recommendations on here, 3 tins of it, cost me a fortune. Not impressed with the results at all, didn't last long enough. Even oil on Ronseal's website is listed as 'medium' protection. I've gone and bought their advanced decking stain which...

    Decking oil - Rubbish?

When it's sunny my deck looks pretty good, when it rain all of the black bits show up. I tried using bleach but that didn't shift it. What would you suggest to get rid of the staining?

    Decking oil - Rubbish?

I'm tempted to just go ahead and stain it. Looking on the Ronseal website, they have oil listed as medium protection yet their advanced stain as very high. Surely their stain is very well made and won't split, crack and flake off? http://www.ronseal.co.uk/garden-woodcare/decking-care

    Decking oil - Rubbish?

I built a new deck last summer which was oiled and it looked amazing. Over the winter it went mouldy and looked awful, despite cleaning. I had to get it professionally cleaned by a pressure washing company, and it now looks a lot better but it's still black/grey in places and oil is left...

    Remove surface decking oil

Hi WabbitPoo, Yes it was oil, it was Liberon Clear oil. Perhaps you may be able to advise on my problem... Over the winter my deck has started to get covered in black mould spots. It appears to be underneath the oil, however it is still getting worse and goes very black when wet so I'm...

    Remove surface decking oil

My deck that I built last year is in need of a good clean and I notice that on some parts the oil hasn't completely soaked in and is starting to flake on the surface. Is there something out there that will remove the old oil from the surface so I can give it a good clean and re-oil this year...

    Washing Machine on Laminate Flooring

I've just laid a laminate floor in our kitchen and went right under the washing machine (this was to make it easier to get the machine in and out as read on here). Now, when the machine is on the spin it vibrates around too much. On the old lino floor there were no problems at all. It...

    Decking - What causes this?

If it starts to get really bad over the next month or so then I would like to think about giving it a bleach wash asap. Obviously oiling the deck at this time of year isn't going to happen, so I'd like to know if the bleach will remove the oil or affect it in any way?

    Decking - What causes this?

I'll keep an eye on it over the winter. Does anyone know if the bleach will effect the oil in anyway? Will I need to re oil after using bleach?
