That’s not the cover mate, that’s the waste outlet.

Can anyone shed any light on this waste pipe?

Well, Ive Ripped some plaster board off and the pipe disappears into the wall. So without taking the wall out I can’t check for certain. As it’s already going into the stack, can I just connect it straight to the but as high as I can get it? If so could someone point me in the right...

Can anyone shed any light on this waste pipe?

You’d be amazed at what the plumbing company did. It’s LPG and the company weren’t even LPG certified so nothing worked properly. Then our heating and hot water were linked so we could only have hot water if the heating was on. Across the road they didn’t even connect the waste to anything...

Can anyone shed any light on this waste pipe?

Does it just need to go direct into the stack? Will be a bit of a stinger if I have to get the gs engineer out again with him only being here yesterday.

Can anyone shed any light on this waste pipe?

Yeah it’s a flue condensing boiler. Potterton performa system HE. Is there a simple way to check if it is coming from the boiler? Without ripping the wall out? It’s been like this 11 years. What do I need to do to rectify it? Only just had a bloody heating engineer here yesterday to cap off...

Can anyone shed any light on this waste pipe?

this is the waste from my utility room. Had a sink and washing machine connected. The main pipe goes into the main soil stack. But the smaller pipe goes up in the same direction as the stack towards my boiler. There is a similar pipe coming out of my boiler which I’m assuming is the pressure...

Disconnecting gas hob. Can I do this?

Thought so. Just wanted to double check. I’m competent enough to do the work but I also want it to be safe and above board. Thanks.

Disconnecting gas hob. Can I do this?

I have a gas hob I no longer want as I’m replacing it with an induction hob when I fit the new kitchen. I’ve attached a pic of the isolation valve tap that goes to the hob. Can I simply turn off the supply at this tap and disconnect the gas pipe to the hob or is this something I need to...

1.5 bowl kitchen sink. Is this doable?

Thanks. Yeah it will masons mitred. I’m considering just going for a smaller sink to save any potential issues. It’s just the sink the wife really wanted is 495x995 so will definitely overlap slightly. Women!!

1.5 bowl kitchen sink. Is this doable?

I’m not worried about that. Access will be fine.

1.5 bowl kitchen sink. Is this doable?

I see your point with the sink and I’m condsidering a smaller sink to fit. But what’s the issue with the oven against the wall?

1.5 bowl kitchen sink. Is this doable?

The sink won’t overlap the joint as the length of worktop the sink is going on will be wall to wall. I just wondered if the 100mm (max) of cutout for the bowl would be too close to the edge of the worktop and prevent it from joining the other one with bolts.

1.5 bowl kitchen sink. Is this doable?

Sorry. I don’t think I explained clearly. The red highlighted area is the unit. I’ve added another pic to show the sink. I mean can the sink bowl overlap 100mm or so beyond the inner corner of the unit?

1.5 bowl kitchen sink. Is this doable?

I need a 1000mm straight corner sink kitchen unit to fit my kitchen plan. The door on this unit is 500mm and the worktops will be 600mm and joining at the centre corner of the unit. Is it possible to fit a standard sink to this corner with 600mm bowl to bowl measurements or will I need a...
