No probs, best to take cover completely off, quite easy, two lugs at top and fins down each side which locate when going back on.

Take the front cover off, 2 screws at front and two underneath; check the auto airvent behind pump which could be leaking. Do not attempt to take off combustion cover though mate.

i hear u guys, just throwing up some theories on what could happen. Potentially, although unlikely, a leak could be created by turning isolation valve which ldf may not detect. I always TT before and after service to err on the side of caution, even when not required.,

what about turning the gas isolation off at boiler to check fsd working during service though

was having argument with engineer from our company. This was based on the services they do or used to do, where if they only gas rated the boiler, and never touched the gas supply,/they never did or had to do a tightness test. Any old /new bg engineers shed some light on this.

yeah it was probably that one as its on the right, i take it its the full harness /molex plug that comes with it and not just the two wires for thermistor as i think a small tool would be required to remove wires at plug.

At a breakdown today,discovered loose connection on dhw thermistor,seems to be alright on the pcb but when touching the red wires up near the thermistor it goes to 06 fault code. Its not the thermistor as changed anyway.It seems like i will need the wiring harness, just wondering if anyone has...
