Building joined to house, any idea's please.

Hi, i'm going to have a shed/outhouse/summer house joined on to the back of my house. I have added a photo so you can get an idea of what it will look like. The area the base is to sit on is concrete and on top of this is decking, so we are going to put a waterproof sheeting down then a proper...

Can i put a clear roof on a lean to!

Can i put a clear roof on a lean to!

No damp proof course for the floor as it won't be touching the ground, it will be sitting on top of decking. I definitely want a clear/see through roof as its going to be so dark. I am having electrics put out there and maybe a radiator, or maybe a plug in heater, not sure what one to pick to...

    Lean-to (moved from General)

Noseall, all I need it to do is to keep my fridge freezer, sofa and table and chairs safe, i.e. no freezing up inside the unit or letting water in. I am happy to try and insulate it as much as possible and even put a small heater in there, but I just don't want it where I find my freezer is...

    Lean-to (moved from General)

I must add that the way my house is positioned I get really strong winds at the back of my house so things go flying around the garden. My house is about 3ft higher up the the houses on one side of me? It is a bit of a wind trap so I feel that if I pick the cheap Argos garden room, I may have to...

Thank you for your reply John, i think you dead right on that one. I constantly keep noticing the door is slightly open, so this is going to cause the condensation then. I have to keep going back to the fridge and pushing the door hard. Thank you, Carolyn
