Sorry, no not my house and I'm away now. I wish I'd taken one to post here Think a bit of straight copper coming directly into a wall from behind for a shower but the copper pipe stopping about 10mm short of exiting the wall.

Help pls?!! I was just about there with no problems then an ancient compression bend started leaking that was 50% set into the tiles/wall. It wasn't something I'd touched but I presume I disturbed it tightening the compression fitting onto the shower 2" above it. Couldn't get a tighten on this...

That's interesting. My Drager is pretty old with twisted elastic covered in goodness knows what but I do use it from time to time, these days mostly with vapour filters rather than dust. Nice light paper type mask is surely always going to be a bit more comfortable to wear though

I've got a Drager mask with interchangable filters. Never find it particularly great in use. As you say, £18 for five only just over £3.50 each, so not too bad really and I'd say they are very, very good

Looked at JSP stuff but not sure which you mean. Mask that has separate filters?

It's true you shouldn't leave this gas pipe capped and hidden in filler in a wall. I had a gas fire taken out and pipe capped under floorboards. I believe this shouldn't be done either but probably like you my gas meter just had one pipe disappearing under the floor and splitting off somewhere...

Ok, thank you. Think I was probably more worried after my last floor tiling job, a hearth with weber black grout. It seemed to stain everything!

Just a thought today, I'll be using a dark grout on floor tiles and feel concerned it'd stain the white wall tile grout. Still not done any grouting on walls as yet but vice versa the same risk seems to apply! What's the usual method of avoiding this? Obviously will only do one after the other...

I bought some at a car boot sale. I'm finding them really good and comfortable to wear for long periods. Probably not all that cheap because it seems a good quality one The "D" the make? Thanks

Hi Fitted just over a year ago, a basic metal up and over the type with springs at top. Seems a top catch won't release. I might just get someone out but thought no harm in asking if there's an easy way to get it open then try and see what's wrong! Thanks

Thanks but they're the same when you look at dimensions. The standard axial fan (back portion of it) is only 25mm long the quiet range almost 100mm. On suspended ceilings I suspect almost half of all modernised bathrooms in the uk have recessed lights and fans fitted and ducted in a void area...
